Health Ministry adjusts and clarifies the time of doses 3 and 4 Covid-19 vaccines

 Recently, there has been inaccurate information about the naming of Covid-19 vaccine shots, the Ministry of Health said. In order to unify and further strengthen the vaccination work against Covid-19, the Ministry of Health adjusted and clarified the method of determining the injection and the injection time as follows:

- 3rd nose injection:

People over 18 years old: Inject immediately after the 2nd dose three months; People who have been infected with Covid-19 should be vaccinated immediately after recovering from the disease.  

People from 12 to under 18 years old: Inject immediately after the 2nd dose, five months; People who have been infected with Covid-19 should be vaccinated immediately after recovering from the disease for three months.   

- 4th injection: Immediately after the 3rd injection, four months; people who have been infected with Covid-19 should be vaccinated immediately after recovering from the disease for three months;

- Children from 5 to under 12 years old who have been infected with Covid-19 should be vaccinated immediately after recovering from the disease three months.

The Ministry of Health has adjusted and clarified the time of vaccination against Covid-19 for doses 3 and 4.

According to Dispatch of the Health Ministry, recently, the situation of Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam has been complicated, increasing the number of cases with the appearance of many new mutations such as BA.04, BA .05... In which, vaccination against Covid-19 is an effective and strategic measure in disease prevention and control.
